The Washington Redskins is in search of another Quarterback after Colt McCoy suffered a fractured right fibula in their 28-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. With only Mark Sanchez being the only healthy QB on the roster, the search is on for a new backup to finish the season.
When asked about Free Agent Quarterback Colin Kaepernick, Head Coach Jay Gruden had some interesting thoughts.
Gruden told the Washington Post He’s (Kaepernick) been discussed but I think we will probably go in a different direction.” Says they aren’t sure they want to bring in someone who would have no familiarity with their offense or coaches.”
It is interesting that they have held discusses around Kaepernick. With Sanchez at the helm, it couple possibly take a week or 2 for a backup to come in and learn the system. But it won’t be Kap.
