Bram Weinstein returned home to Washington in July 2016 to take over the vacated Tony Kornheiser show from 11am-1pm weekdays on The Team 980.

Prior to his return home, Weinstein spent 7 years in Bristol, CT hosting a variety of programs for The Team. His last assignment was anchoring the weekend morning edition of The Team’s flagship program “SportsCenter” which at the time was the highest rated version of the show.

Weinstein also hosted a weekend program in his name nationally on The Team Radio and filled in on a variety of their weekday programs.

Weinstein also served as the radio voice of American University basketball for two seasons and did a handful of national play by play action for The Team.

Weinstein is from Silver Spring, Maryland and worked at 980 as an intern back in 1993.  After graduation from American U, Weinstein worked at CNN as a producer and then on air in Hastings, NE as an anchor/reporter for the local NBC affiliate.

He returned home after a 2 year run in the Midwest to be Redskins beat reporter for SportsTalk 980 and Red Zebra Broadcasting for 8 seasons most notably for the 4 years of Joe Gibbs return. For two seasons, Weinstein hosted the weekly coaches show with the Hall of Famer.
